Commencing July 5th 2011, the Durham Region Association Of Realtors has rezoned districts within Durham Region.
One of the new districts is Central Oshawa which borders are 401 to King St E, Wilson Road to just east of Simcoe.
Within the Central Neighbourhood you will find some great points of interest including the General Motos Centre, this premier sports and entertainment facility features 2 ice pads and has hosted major concerts and special events.
Another point of interest is the Canadian Automotive Museum which was created in 1961. This venture has helped to preserve the automotive history of Canada.
